The original creators of Microsoft's most popular gaming franchise came into Sony Studios and destroyed dreams. :mjcry:

So they just need to reskin enemies like they do in Destiny and they need to add travis scott skins and dances like they do in fortnite :pachaha:
I mean, there is a lot more to it than that. How many studios/devs are making CoD MP?

Halo Infinite dying because of a lack of post-launch content, Destiny's fanbase shytting on Bungie for re-releasing the same content again and again while Fortnite is releasing entire games within their game.

Meanwhile, clowns on the coli - "they just need to reskin stuff every few months, this GAAS stuff is so easy." :troll:

Halo is the opposite of that and it rebounded. It's in the top 30 most played and ahead of games like Fifa, Diablo, PUBG, and a few others.

I do agree that being a GaaS isn't that easy because you still have to keep gamers engaged. Gamers today are vastly different than gamers a decade ago. In the past, you have good gameplay in your game and called it a day. Nowadays, you need to have at least decent gameplay, a steady stream of content, monetize cosmetics, battle passes, shareholders taking a closer look and reach tougher goals.

Halo's player base is the healthiest it's been in 2 years. over 50k players just in matchmaking(thats not counting campaign, in menu, custom games browser, customization, etc). all 17 playlists have a wait time of less than 3o seconds for matchmaking. stuff like FireFight, ranked, Squad Battle, Halo 3 Refueled, big team heavies, Tac Slayer, and Husky Raid are instant

Yeah, if anything Halo Infinite should be an inspiration that it's better to stick it out and right the ship. The wait time between matches is short and I actually find matches quicker than Overwatch and other shooters. Also, when I play matches I see people wearing equipment from the shop, so they must be making decent revenue from t MTX.

Personally. I feel Sony should've released the game and let consumers decide if they want to stick with it. You never know if a live service game would be a success. I felt Factions would have its own lane because there aren't many third person shooters.

My thing is....it wasn't even vaporware! They had alpha code up and running and nikkaz playing the shyt!

You that far along and just say fukk it?

Even adding what they did to TLOU2 remastered next month woulda been fine.

Goofy as fukk.

Execs stay fukkin shyt up.

Breh if that game never made it out of Alpha it was DOA. :bryan:

I never kept up with it but if they were still in alpha they had no content for that game.

The 343/Halo Infinite just proves ND's point - it took a huge amount of effort and resources to "turn around" the game, anf this is something ND don't want to get sucked into doing.
