So Islam views race kinda like how Zoe Saldana views race, I see

Except Islam isn't ashamed of race or ethnicity or cultural background.

That would be like saying, Capitalism is the white man's economic model.. don't follow that shyt if your black.

colorless.

Has Christianity been hijacked by Europeans and turned in to a mix of pagan worship and mental sub servitude?

The same Argument can be made since Christianity also originated in the middle east (600 years before Muhammad).

Christianity has not been hijacked by anyone. In Mali and Eastern African countries if you see how the dark skin black Muslims are treated you will think twice about your religion.

Straight filth...I can't imagine how why any black person can be a Muslim knowing the history of Arabs and blacks in Africa.

many of black muslims swear "christianity is the white man's religion. it helped enslave black folks."

yet they gloss over the same slavery that was going down with other middle eastern muslims of a lighter complexion. just sayin.

thats because they dont know the history and once its put in their face. they dont know what to do with it. so they just write it off as the past and not the present. again, the same group of people will clown a black person for being christian(white man's religion per them) but their religion is (the black man's religion). black man as in the last folks to still have slaves were muslims. and those slaves were black. is that what you meant by the black man's religion?

I agree. I don't think we should gloss over anything.

However, just to explain the reason it seems like people are only emphasizing one thing and not the other....

Most of us come from west africa to the caribbean and N. America.. We were brought here by Europeans who forced us, even the black Muslims to convert to Christianity.. they used CAC brainwashing to keep us subservient and they manipulated real Christianity to fit into their agenda. Those same people still institutionally try to fukk us, however, we can Now fight against it and empower ourselves..

It's not just black Muslims who go hard at Christianity. It's many black people, especially black people who are invested in our current development and empowerment. Especially black people who see the current churches robbing the little resources we have, so some fat fukk can ride on private jets while the masses donate money.

The reason for all this and the reason other topics aren't spoken about as much is because the translantic is the thing that most black American's relate to. It's not just because people want to randomly hate on christians and hype of the arab religion. It's just that the same forces and agendas that White Christian superiority used to place us in this position, are still in full effect in the form of drug wars, gentrification, private prisons, Jim Crow era stereotypes, and other shyt. There are Arabs and Persians in the Middle East who are racist as F, but they aren't running the US local and federal governments or corporations.

Also black Muslims have protested against and in some case (tho I don't agree w doing this) vandalized Arab owned businesses in black neighborhoods that exploit us. Most of the time the criticisms are guided and focused. Case by case.

Peace.

Christianity has been hijacked. You don't know the history of Christianity in Europe or something?

My believe system doesn't hold up or fall based on the prejudices of some flawed men. If that's the case they you can apply that to your faith as well.

I didn't say geographical political causes or humans didn't see color or race.

then you should stop implying that and stop spreading bullshyt about muslims being the only ones to stand up to slavery and oppression

in fact your religious views are your personal business and you should keep them to yourself

And you can pretend that black Muslims didn't stand up during slavery and weren't some of the key people and sparked some of the key movements- for most of the black America struggle. y would you argue against the facts? maybe it's because you could care less about black people or maybe ur still misguided off that Delores Tucker , ward connerly bullshyt.

Damn, people can't state their views now? lol. You are the definition of butthurt.. I've never read anything like this before. I can't respect that post.

You can make negative antagonistic comments about religion and race, but other people can't state their views. :scusthov:

I'ma part of the problem, my problem is I'm peaceful
And I believe in the people

what you said was that muslims where the only ones that stood up to slavery and the only ones that fought oppression while everybody else was tap dancing, and yeah i got but hurt over that because the reality is that muslims actually participated in the slave trade and the vast majority of people that fought slavery and oppression were christian

and i respect freedom of religion and i respect intellectual diversity within the black community, so i dont have any beef with delores tucker or ward connerlly, i agree with delores tucker that rap music has to be positive and ward connerly did the right thing by getting rid of affirmative action in california, you can state your views all you want, i just have a problem if its non factual
