"In April 2013, when Jason Collins came out as the first active openly gay male player in a major American professional team sport, Collins claimed that Hardaway called him in support of his homosexuality.[17] In July 2013, Hardaway was the symbolic first signer of a petition to put a proposed amendment to the Florida State Constitution overturning Florida Amendment 2 and allowing same-sex marriage in his home state of Florida on the ballot in 2014.[18]"

Drazen Petrovic was never an All-Star but somehow he's in because he was big in Europe and died tragically.
Dozens of NBA All-Stars who were much better than him aren't in the HOF.
Can anyone say with a straight face that he was better than KJ or Tim Hardaway? :rudy:

I won't...But best believe there are some people on here who will....Drazen only got it in for like 2 years, but he was fun to watch.

Kevin Johnson was a flat out monster

Im getting schooled here. i thought Laettner was in the BB HoF based on his college accomplishments.

No he wasnt better than either of them.

But if Tim Hardaway gets in, then we open the flood gates for other "similar" level PGs to get in......when a HOF should only be the elite players.

If Hardaway gets in, Stephon Marbury should get in as well (good NBA Career plus his International career)

Im not sure he is first ballot....if judging of a pro career u gotta get ya team to the finals....for a first ballot in my eyes...he falls a little short....

the first ballot/non first ballot stuff to me is for the birds. either you deserve to be in, or you dont. based on the qualifications the pro bball hall of fame have already established, he deserves to be in.

but like i said in my earlier post...i dunno if he's even a top 5 point guard of the 90s (gary payton, jason kidd, kevin johnson, isiah thomas, john stockton) so its kinda strange a guy that might not even be in top 5 at his position during the decade he played can be included in the hall of fame.

He's in the college bball hall of fame. Christian also technically played pro ball in 2011 so I dunno what his eligibility is like at this point.

Flood gates are already open. I'd take KJ and Timmy over Reggie Miller.
