I dont think it was because of the gay comments because the dude has been doing everything to appease that community and doing all types of outreach programmes (Just google him and look at the first pic by his profile that comes up)

This just seems like the HoF is sleeping cause dude didnt win a title or get any major indivdual awards

ignorant sport fans :manny:

they dont realize that its not a game thats solely concentrated in the US.

they wanna say basketball is the greatest sport in the world but limit HOF induction domestically and just in the NBA. Doesn't work.

The fact that some think Tim Hardaway's a HOF lock shows you that the standards aren't as high as one would think.

There is no such thing as an NFL HOF.
In a way it's stupid for a LEAGUE to have its own HOF but I wouldn't be mad if they had both an NBA and a basketball HOF.

Look, some players have accomplished more on the world basketball stage than they have in the NBA and deserve the recognition. Some players are strictly NBA guys, period. The NBA can have it's way of recognizing the accomplishments and careers of the players who aren't necessarily basketball HOF worthy but still had great impact in the league.

  • Sabonis is a good example of great international talent that would not make the NBA HOF but unquestionably makes the Basketball HOF.
  • Vince Carter probably makes NBA HOF but not necessarily Basketball HOF

i'm a huge tim hardaway fan. he was definitely a first ballot type of guy.

honest question tho....was tim hardaway a top 5 point guard in the 90s?

terrible player to use to try to make your argument.
Im not sure he is first ballot....if judging of a pro career u gotta get ya team to the finals....for a first ballot in my eyes...he falls a little short....

The basketball HOF is a joke anyway. Drazen Petrovic, Drazen Dalipagic, Dino Meneghin, Kresimir Cosic, Sergei Belov are in the HOF...
But Sidney Moncrief and Spencer Haywood never made it
There should be an NBA HOF :manny:

Don't know about the rest of them dudes but Drazen should def be in the Hall.

:stopitslime: It's called the BASKETBALL Hall of Fame. Why wouldn't they include international players? By the way, Drazen Petrovic was NASTY, you need to do your homework.
I was about to post this if someone didn't. I wanted a powder blue Nets Drazen jersey so bad. Dude was sick as fukk on the court.

Drazen was filthy, but what about the other ones he named? The fact of the matter is, the criteria for the "basketball" HOF is all over the place, and yes, Tim Hardaway has the credentials to get in......
