But Broner never showed that he had the intention or desire to step things up and see if he could take Molina out. He was content to just let the fight keep going the way it had been.
As he should've, being that he was winning the fight easily by just out-boxing Molina and was not in any danger.
I know it annoyed a lot of the Broner stands when Sugar Ray said it but it was entirely true that Broner needed to close the show or at the very least look like he wanted to. He did nothing last night to make himself look special at all.
He made easy work of a guy who took THE RING Magazine's #1 ranked Junior Welterweight to the brink, and out landed him by 165 punches and was only hit 54 times (less than 5 times a round) in the process.
