I am not even arguing with you about that though. I am critical of him not doing anything to make anyone care to ever watch hi fight again.
To people who are not diehard boxing fans all they have to go on with Broner is that unappealing borefest that had half of the audience tune to another channel and the entire arena booing. He blew a golden opportunity by playing it safe.

I dont think Broner's appeal/stardom was blown at all, it was Molina who didnt come to fight and I would think he's the one who's gonna be hurt the most out of all of this, but we'll see on June 20th:yeshrug:

I agree. I was sitting in a room full of casuals watching the fight, EVERYONE was shytting on Molina and praising how AB was just dominating/toying with him. People will still tine in, its time for him to be fighting for a title now anyway

I agree with that. Like I said before, the Taylor's/Molina's should be done with now. Only problem is, Al Haymon doesnt have anyone at 140 for AB to fight who's ranked high....they all belong to TR besides Prov and he would have to beat Matthysse first:damn:

140 Division:

RING Champion: Danny Garcia (friends...but he's moving up to 147 shortly)
#1: Lucas Matthysse (Golden Boy)
#2: Lamont Peterson (friends)
#3: Chris Algieri (Top Rank)
#4: Ruslan Provodnikov (maybe an option, as long as he beats Matthysse, being that he's no longer with Top Rank)
#5: Adrien Broner
#6: Jessie Vargas (Top Rank)
#7: Viktor Postol (Top Rank)
#8: Khabib Allahkerdiev (Top Rank)
#9: Thomas Dulorme (Top Rank)
#10: Mauricio Herrera (Golden Boy)

And Terence Crawford is with TR as well:wow:

We really have no strong options amongst the Top 10:snoop:

:heh:

I was looking over the list yesterday and was like ":mindblown:, AB can be freezed out at 140, especially with Peterson and Garcia moving up to 147 and Crawford + Jose Benavidez Jr will be sliding in the Top 10 (2 more TR fighters)":damn:

We're gonna need help from the organizations in order to get mandatory title shots, because as it's looking....we about to be stuck in the mud:mjcry:

ill say this about PBC:
Keith Thurman - Won the fight and the event; made the most of the spotlight on him and will probably get a major fight out of it hopefully. Also needs to tighten up on his defense, he needs to get at Winky for that.
Robert Guerrero - Got his ass beat as expected but didn't stop trying his damndest to win the fight; most likely earned future paydays and dates on network TV as he is a necessary foil for cats with spectacular offense that having no problem going through his leaky defense.
Adrien Broner - He is lucky that he already crossed over and he still remains a name/sellling point among casuals due to his personality and floyd affiliation. However while he beat Molina he didn't do it in a way that excited viewers. The ratings dropoff during his fight is too notable which is something im sure Al can't ignore. He's going to have to come correct in whoever he's facing next.
John Molina - Just straight up blew it. Had a chance to break through and flopped in a pedestrian performance. Lost 3 fights in a row so most likely its back to FNF/Shobox for him.

Great name broner picked, he sure is the can man except they're tomatoes. :laff:
Trash ass nikka stunk up the entire country. Dude might have single handedly ruined the NBC deal. Meanwhile Thurman really showed his ass and can pick any fight he wants
Damn shame it had to be Guerrero
I didn't even know NBC had these fights on until too late. I caught the tail end of the Broner/Molina fight. I don't think one so-so fight would ruin the whole NBC prime-time boxing series.
I watched the Thurman/Guerrero fight. That was good. I don't know why the fighters didn't walk to the ring with their crew.

I like that NBC is showing boxing during prime-time. Why pay for PPV? Let the sponsors pay the tab :lolbron:

Thurman going to have issues with a pressure fighter that can fight inside.

An inside fighter will HAVE to walk through some serious hell & fire power to get that close. That's the exact reason Ghost couldn't walk him down & put that kind of pressure on him. Good luck finding someone that's willing to gamble on their chin to try that. Also don't forget about the head injury Thurman had which clearly made him change tactics.
