I get paid $xxx an hour to understand all of this shyt. I've consulted on a ton of render farms and workstations where Video cards and GPU's were top priority. And I've done work on GPU'S as they relate to bitcoin mining. So i understand them in many ways. And RAM??? come on.
RAM? thats A+ 101 stuff. So I get it. Thoroughly. Most of us just can't be bothered with this shyt. We have other things to do with our time.
Just give me something that will play EVERY game made for it for the next 5-7 years and I'm good. I don't want to have to play around with settings and configurations and argue about which video card will do what with Crysis 10000.
Is that too hard to understand?

Not only will it play games for years, it will surpass them most of the time..... I think.
laptops aren't for gaming no laptop is really gonna compare to the quality of a gaming desktop.
until a new version of Windows with a new version of Direct X comes out and that card as powerful as it is isn't top of the line anymore.

The tired ol "pcs are much better, console gamers aren't gamers and don't know enough so they game console" argument is tired.

Gabe is trying to bring the PC to the couch for a reason. He knows that console gamers don't care for PC gaming in its current form. If he can understand that....why can't PC gamers????? Are you trying to convince us? Or yourselves?

Not the "not gamers" part. The other....most of these cats don't know much, so they console game. Which is fine.
The problem is, they try to discuss the technical aspects of GPUs, etc. in a console....which is dangerously close to PC territory. So then you have PCs heads come in and school them....and invariable people are like
"we don't want to hear all that PC shyt"....well, you started the dialogue in the first place. It ain't like PC heads are just randomly running up in threads wilding out with technical jargon.Fred.
