other than that, it's a hobby like anything else. it's really not that expensive compared to how people dump money into their car and shyt
So in total I spent roughly $400 for a whole rig that outclasses consoles and it's hardly a high end rig let alone mid range rig. This is most likely a low end gaming pc yet it still run circles and graphically games looks miles better than everything on ps3/360. I used to think you need a $1000 computer to play pc games decently but that's obviously not true. I already had a case and a hard drive plus I'm sure most people own a HDTV at least. So you're wrong.

Well on a PC you typically aren't spending $60 per game. Put it like this you can spend the money upfront on PC hardware and get games cheaper or you can save money on hardware and get screwed over on games.
Did you see the preorder bonuses they had on Bioshock infinite on the PC? It was coming with like 3 other games. I bought a never settle AMD code off eBay and got the game for $21.50 while a console gamer is paying $60 for the same game.

Gran turismo 5 sold more than every franchise on the 360 cept halo 3. Gran Turismo series sells more than Halo iself. Uncharted 2 and 3 sales are in the same ballpark as Gears. If we bring up God of War and a few other franchises, Sony actually sells more than Xbox games.
