Probably Utah :yeshrug:let's not act like Utah wasn't a great team back then. They were the closest to ever getting to a game 7. Just let that sink in. The Bulls never went to a game 7 in 6 finals.
They weren’t a “great” team

These dummies really thought they'd make LeBron the GOAT by attacking the GOAT figure of our childhood, its like disrespecting our favorite uncle or something :russ:

When you that nikka, you don't have to do all of that. People will peep it.

The kid that's really going to supplant Jordan...when he comes in, he will be magnetic and we'll know from the moment we see him that he's it. The same way people know that Patrick Mahomes is something special.
:dead:

This is the problem with these old heads. Ya'll don't even understand the sport, you just worship MJ because he's a figure of your childhood. MJ zealots will never place a player above Jordan no matter what, ya'll will find a way to shyt on the next player gaining on him. Probably say he played in a weak era or some shyt. It ain't even about basketball to ya'll, it's about ya'll preserving the legacy of someone you worship.

This is such a weird argument and narrative.

You don’t have to think bron is better than Mike to be a bron fan :mjtf:

And more importantly…MOST IMPORTANTLY:

Dear Kobe fans,

You did not inherit ownership of Jordan bragging rights just bc you can’t win a bron vs Kobe debate. Fam, we see you. We know who these types of takes come from. like ok, Bron is only the 2nd best ever. That’s cool, but he still clears Kobe by all non-emotional, non-anecdotal, non- ambiguous metrics

Clown a player by saying he’s only the 2nd best ever brehs

It's like comic books.

LeBron = Iron Man
Jordan = Superman

Iron Man is dope and a name in his own right, but Superman will always be the standard and basically common vocabulary and reference for super heroes.

We can also look at NBA Finals ratings, a subject people have been recently obsessing over:

Single game superlatives (1987–present)

Highest rated

  1. 1998 Game 6 – 30.6
  2. 1988 Game 7 – 21.5
  3. 1993 Game 6 – 20.3

Lowest rated

  1. 2020 Game 3 – 3.1
  2. 2020 Game 2 – 3.6
  3. 2020 Game 1 – 4.1

Most watched

  1. 1998 Game 6 – 35.89 million
  2. 1993 Game 6 – 32.10 million
  3. 2016 Game 7 – 31.02 million

Least watched

  1. 2020 Game 3 – 5.94 million
  2. 2020 Game 2 – 6.61 million
  3. 2020 Game 1 – 7.41 million

Like another breh, LeBron had the same time in his prime to catch and captivate the audience like Jordan did, but fell short.

Remember, it was Kareem's record LeBron broke, which was a record Jordan never broke but Kareem nor LeBron still could not captivate like peak Jordan did.

Even ChatGPT/AI gets it:

Q: If LeBron James breaks the NBA scoring record, will he be a greater player than Michael Jordan?

Breaking the NBA scoring record would certainly be a remarkable achievement for LeBron James and would solidify his status as one of the greatest players in the history of the sport. However, whether or not he would be considered the greatest player of all time would still be a matter of debate and would depend on a number of factors, including personal opinions, criteria for greatness, and individual preferences.

For many fans and experts, Michael Jordan's six NBA championships, five Most Valuable Player Awards, and numerous other accolades make him the greatest player of all time. Others may argue that LeBron's longevity, versatility, and all-around game make him the greatest.

Ultimately, the answer to this question is subjective and depends on personal criteria for what constitutes the "greatest" player. While LeBron's scoring record would certainly be an impressive accomplishment, it alone may not be enough to definitively answer this question.

jordan fans love acting like he wasnt getting his cheeks blasted in the 80s.
Exactly. It’s also strange how they pretend losing in first round or just being eliminated before the finals is better than making the finals and losing.

Did that graphic add a scoring title trophy? Didn’t that trophy just get added this year? So technically Jordan wouldn’t have any. I say that because if we’re gonna retroactively add shyt, Jordan gets 6 additional ones for ECF MVP. And Bron gets 9 more for ECF MVP and 1 more for WCF MVP, and an assist crown. Jordan’s still got more hardware, but it’s not as big as the graphic. And how do we account for All-NBA teams?
That graphic is basically a post season finals comparison…… Bron got a lot more that can be added under that….
