That was after the season in November. Magic had a great season in 90-91 and even played on the dream team. Using his sickness as a reason why MJ beat him is a reach
Bruh, i’m saying he was on a decline and career cut short (due to that). He had no time to redeem. The team he won chips with were old. He still had gas in the tank but HIV cut his career short. I think he could have won another.

You got your innovators and optimizers.

Jordan is more of the former, while LeBron is the latter.

The thing is humans love innovation, and get bored by optimization (although they respect it).

To give an idea: Adidas thought Jordan was "too short" to be a super star.

Jordan destroyed that narrative. That's the innovative part.

Nike was downtrending when Jordan got with them. Nike may not have been around today had Jordan not signed with them and showed what a guard can do in a tall sport.

Dude is responsible for way too much out the sport that simple sports accolades don't match the impact Jordan has.

I'd argue modern basketball stan culture is from Jordan.

This is gross.

Whitewashing it, minimizing Jordan, and a bonus some black male erasure by downplaying his father—-played by a no name actor—-while giving it a ‘strong black woman’ matriarchal spin with the Viola Davis.

MJ’s mom was like 15 years younger than James Jordan. Mike’s story always centered around his dad and his mom was traditional in the background. Here they look like they gon play it like she was damn near a single mother.

Jordan fans are by far the worst fan base. I love Jordan and I place his career above Bron but damn yall are the worst fan base
What does this even mean?!? That’s like saying Ali’s fan base is the worst or Brady’s fan base is the worst. These dudes are unanimous, impregnable. There is nothing to poke at. :heh:

If it makes you mad it’s bc nggas like to be contrarian its in their blood so if someone is THAT unanimously the best
, some nggas will pull some shyt out there ass ‘Jordan played vs plumbers’ or ‘low key if it wasn’t for Scottie..’. These are the arguments of folk who’d see someone walk on water and say ‘ok but he can’t swim’

‘Hate Jordan fans’. Tf :why: Until you young nggas got old enough to get on the net ngga EVERYBODY was a Jordan fan:mjtf:

I think it’s 12 total. But I guess 11 because he missed that one year

Pretty much won a ring half the time he was on the Bulls. If he never came back to the Wiz, 6 rings in 12 seasons is crazy
He played 15 games in both '86 and '95 so just 11 full seasons

Bron has played almost an entire decade more and still chasing :wow:

I don't think the claim that MJ's accolades don't count because his competition in the 90s was underdeveloped is a good one.

Bron's first two rings are from 10-11 years ago and it was a different NBA back then too.

Lakers not even In play-in spot and Bron sitting out.... :jbhmm:

Some games you play going to rack and some around mid-range like MJ and Kobe did to deal with an 82 game season. At least Bron could decoy and do his assist thing....

If Bron don't think he can get 30....he ain't going out there, lol.

People have a hard time grasping this. If the people en masse were to decide Lebron is the ultimate it would’ve happened

He just wasn’t the one to replace Michael Jordan in American society

This should have been a done deal. Bron had twenty years to convert the world

These dummies really thought they'd make LeBron the GOAT by attacking the GOAT figure of our childhood, its like disrespecting our favorite uncle or something :russ:

When you that nikka, you don't have to do all of that. People will peep it.

The kid that's really going to supplant Jordan...when he comes in, he will be magnetic and we'll know from the moment we see him that he's it. The same way people know that Patrick Mahomes is something special.
