I am still holding out a 1080p copy of 1917 rather than one of those 1GB your grandma's screeners.
I am headed to see it next Saturday with my boys.

I’m trying to watch it Thursday at an IMAX theater but most theaters in LA still have Star Wars on IMAX screens.

Even the IMAX knockoff screens aren’t showing 1917 on it.

I know that Star Wars will probably still generate more $$$$$ for the theaters but this shyt is ridiculous.

That is crazy. I don't go to see that many movies in the theaters anymore unless it is something that I think needs to be seen at the theater to really get the experience right.
But nothing is more annoying in these circumstances when I have time and then look to see what is playing near me and some blockbuster is taking over 3 screens of an eight -10 screen multiplex.

Do you think we'll see a screener for 1917 now that its been released in theaters?

I hope so. it may be delayed I have noticed that the screeners are really trickling out vs previous years. I would be willing to wait if we can get a 720p or 1080p one.

1917 seems like it’d be way better to see in theaters as opposed to a screener copy at home.

I’d probably still just watch the screener copy at home however :hubie:
