I don't typically watch them in theaters anyway, I'm very happy with what they;re doing for the most part and I think this "phase", kinda like phase 1 is about finding yourself/themselves and gainng some footing, especially on the TV side of things. They haven't perfected the formula just yet in that aspect and even that's still exciting. The first batch of movies that all kicked this thing off were clunky and directionless at times, this is a new begining.

NWH was great, but I agree this phase hasn't been very interesting. They need a hit badly
Definitely losing their cultural grasp, and I think the presence of all these TV shows is detracting from it too since whether or not it's relevant now I feel like I'm always missing something. Makes me feel more detached from the timeline

You're supposed to be detatched from the timeline.

This is why everybody was saying oooooo endgame was the perfect place to end it, because it had a nice little bow on it. People expecting THAT again are sorely mistaken. It's not a reset, reboot, it's an expansion...we literally have TV shows showing the "sacred timeline" being broken, that is a metaphor for the continuity that made the MCU experience what it is breaking down and expanding.

People complained so much about everything being the same, cookie cutter, this movie being an ad for the next, not really "cinema", super hero this and that....breaking up the timeline, traversing the multi-verse is all leading up to finding the footing to rectify those issues. Delving more into genre films instead of just being labeled "super hero" shyt and people don't know YET how to take the changes but you'll eiither get there or trail off, it's all good.

But understand that this detatchment is supposed to happen. You can't keep uppin the ante, you can't keep finding the next "Thanos" to build up to over and over again, you gotta have some ability to scale up, down, sideways, tell self contained stories while staying on brand, they're finding their way toward that.

Keep it 100….most of those upcoming marvel movies in the next 3/4 years look ass….like the characters they pick for solo movies

Keeping it 100 is acknowledging that what Marvel Studios has acomplished is unprecedented and the fans are SPOILED AS fukk, the lot of us.

We went from being amazed at even seeing shyt like Tony, Cap and Thor standing back to back, shyt ripped right out of the comics to seeing all kinds of shyt we never thought we'd see on screen to being meh.....I mean really.

That's not to say there aren't cirtiques to make, but rarely ever put it all in to context.

damn who the new blank panther?
Shuri and others may suit up, the plan was for her to be the new BP but eventualy M'baku because of her vaccine controversy and just not being up for it.
They're using a CGI version of Chadwick. That's not a joke either. Idk if he'll be replaced in the movie or not, but the production of BP2 has been one giant clusterfukk.
I'm hearing we won't see Chadwick at all, his death won't be shown and will probably be told in story form. CGI'ing him in there would be 'worse' than just recasting him.

Not a big Marvel fan but I think they should have tried to at least differentiate this phase stylistically. Made a new "house style" kinda thing. If Russo Bros/Joss Whedon were the ones that really set the tone and look of phase 1 then they shoulda brought a director or directors in to really set a new tone and look for these new ones.

Honestly only on here do I hear any type of MCU fatigue. Out in the streets, people can’t wait to see Thor, the next black panther, what will they do with the fantastic four and the x men. Thor looks fun. And they really reaching into the lore of the comics by adding the living tribunal, all the multiverse stuff. Oh my nikka Kang is coming to crush the buildings. It’s a exciting time for the MCU.

Yeah I have no idea what these cats are talking about.

Dr. Strange is inching towards $1 billion....come on here and people are like "I dunno, it might be a wrap for Marvel."

Can't wait for the next Thor but not liking the Phase Four movies so far (other than No Way Home). The Disney+ shows haven't been so bad though.

Shows have been ass and the last couple movies have been forgettable. Xmen is really the only hope to turn this thing around.

The problem is they are still focused on the Avengers. Even though they basically did everything they need to do with that team.
The MCU is really just the Avengersverse. Instead of making a bunch of projects about new younger avengers characters like Kate Bishop, Ms Marvel etc. They should've have just kept the og team intact but limited them to just cameos going forward, and moved on to another long arc with one the other big Marvel hero teams. Like FF4 , doom and Galactus. Then after that on to X-men or something like that. The Avengers had their moment, let them be relegated to superhero police now, showing up only when something the X-men do gets out of hand. We don't need a movie or show for every new version of the classic lineup.
