I've heard a couple interviews, one with Danny McBride and the other with Seth Rogen and both pretty much say there was a lot of improv. Danny McBride said before he got on set he heard all those guys were bringing up everything about each other and talking all kinds of shyt. He said to get prepared he went on messege boards to find what kind of shyt people were saying about the other guys in the movie
