The package is for stimulus of the economy, so the government and economy needs these frivolous consumers, but they also need people who are going to invest in the stock market and buy homes. If everyone was to save the stimulus money and/or pay off a few bills the stimulus package would be a failure and misnomer, it would be considered personal relief package.

I do believe people should invest and save, but it’s their future not mine.
