I have a mentally ill family member with schizophrenia, people can look normal to the naked eye but as soon as a situation escalates they turn into monsters. They are too common where I grew up, and very dangerous.

Only thing...most people with mental illness are non-violent. Violent deranged folks are the exception, not the rule. This guy is too far gone.
