If people are worried about who is going to sign up, do some grassroots promotion to "the youth" of your choosing and convince them to sign up just to check it out. Fresh blood is definitely needed here because that brings fresh ideas. Even if people here hate young people, (and for those who hate women), isn't it better to know thy enemy?

If new people step out of line, they can be banned right away.

Get some more mods so they can handle the racists and trolls who will sign up. I'm not one of these posters who whines about the coli falling off or whatever but we need some new blood. Plus one of my alternate troll accounts was banned and I need another one.

Maybe it should be some kind of invite-only thing. The issue here is that message boards are so popular because of their anonymity, so it's a little bit more difficult, but there could be somebody that you get along with well on Reddit, and you know they're still in college or something like that, and they could be an invite-type situation. That way the numbers won't get out of control. If that's even a concern, there can be a cap set.
