Because Americans hate crime, even though they fail to realize that most people in jail are in there for some bs (suspended license etc) or are non violent so we don't really care to reform the prison system.
What I don't understand is why the inmates make the place even worse. If I was doing time I would want a friend/non-hostile environment. I don't get why the inmates don't try to truce up and make the time more enjoyable instead of always watching your back

I agree with everything here...but I don't get how there isn't a class action law suit or something...
I mean I can protect myself with my hands, but who wants to be duckin buck 50s and constantly thinking about cats trying to jump you every other day?
I would defnitely sue the State to make improvements and change things up...

Prisons are full of wolves breh. They prey on who they can prey.
Putting non-violent criminals with violent criminals is just fukking stupid IMO. You got potheads in there getting indoctrined in violent ways. BY the time they come out, they themselves are violent.
The best way to solve this shyt is just to kill violent criminals. Especially if they're repeated offenders
There's nothing worse than reading a story about a violent crime committed by a dude who's committed the same crime before but he got out because of some bullshyt.

also this doc. is not blowing things out of proportations. I seen ppl ready to fight over phone time. just the smallest things. ppl ready to test you by starring at you n see if you would look away( sign of weakness)
