Lemme stop you right there pal. If you're going to invoke my name in this discussion, at least put some context into it. If you were a vet in WCW in 2000 and hadn't gone full "collecting paychecks" mode, you were a fukking sucker. In 2000 alone, the belt was vacated half a dozen times and passed around like a groupie. Between the politics in the back and Russo throwing shyt against the wall to try to out-do WWF, every damn day was a 20 car pile up. Time Warner was paying me good money, and since they couldn't afford to let me show up on RAW with Scott (which we both asked several times to be let out of our contracts), I coasted like many of the vets did at the time.

There's a big difference between me coasting in WCW and what Orton is doing now.

Orton been awful for a while in a somewhat functional work environment with world class treatment/pay compare to the shytshow of 2000 WCW.

It pretty fukking sad when even comparing Orton to the lowest points of "coasting" in dying days of WCW is offensive to those guys. Like shyt... That's fukking rough. Its like finding an underground cavern after hitting rock bottom.

Orton got no excuse at this point. Took coasting to a new level.

Like I said in the Battleground thread...dude was in the Meth House of Horror and Punjabi Prison match all in the same year and we not even at Summer Slam yet. Hopefully, they lets somebody not named Cena or Orton get some feuds in for the title against Jinder. Seems like they are already booking Cena for the feud since he talkin that America shyt heavier than normal and they used Rusev as the starter.

He was not good in the Bryan feud, he was just there.
Henry carried him, which is crazy cause Henry was always never allowed a chance to build any real workrate being one of the first inhouse celeb real world athlete WWE prospective main eventers.
The Rollins feud was blah, Christian carried him and he only got sympathy because Christian was due and the better talent globally in tags connection to edge and being the actual worker who edge even admitted should be brought in and was never used as a sports entertainer.
Even after cosigns from the rock of all people.
Orton actually should be carrying both these guys to some shyt where we at least got flair versus zenk or even zenk versus Vader in quality maybe not content but quality and feel.
Yet we get none of that and Orton is easily just a second Gen goldboy. Given the farm but really not a good enough worker especially when compared to his father.
Orton is just the epitome of clique rules associated guy garnering the spoils.
