Been coasting off look and his name his whole career. He got that basic ass CAW look Vince and them like with some tattoos. I'm wondering what Bruce and them seen in OVW when he said on his podcast that out of that class with Orton, Brock, Batista that Orton was the one they thought would be the biggest star . Outside of his Undertaker feud way back when and when he was heel with Rey I never cared for dude. He stopped caring a long time ago and yet Vince still puts dude in these main event spots . shyt, if I watched TNA i mightve put Joe and Lethal in there too. only left Henry out because the HoP run was so short. i might've even enjoyed shane douglas and raven more.

his position/hype/respect in the E are solid, but when you actually start naming guys who just entertained on the mic and/or in the ring, he ain't it.

I'm not dabbling tin this bullshyt woulda coulda debate. I don't give a fukk if it's Orton and AJ Styles. If you gonna go out there and do jack shyt. I'm gonna call you out for it and he has been doing for approximately 3-4 years. He hasn't put on a great match in a long fukking time. His only good match this year was against fukking Harper. His TV match with AJ Styles had excessive amounts of rest holds to burn TV time. It's fukking coasting. So, fukk all this character booking bullshyt that Orton been dealt with over the past 5 years. This dude is a solid 15+ year vet that can work great matches and it doesn't show in between the ropes. He doesn't need to do flippy indie shyt. He just need to have good matches in his style. His psychology has been lackadaisical and going through the motion at best when he doesn't care. He's been breaking character and committing some lazy botches in the ring. His moveset gets more limited by the year. He hasn't develop a new wrinkle or attempted to reinvent himself in the ring. We can blame WWE the hand that he has been dealt, but the same time... He needs to go out there and live up to his credentials and wrestle like the perennial 4**** talent that he is. I'm just disappoint in how badly Orton regressed when I wanted him to reach that classic match era that Cena got to in 2011. I want good wrestling. He hasn't been doing that in a long time and this year... He has been unacceptable, and he has been the top main event program for an unbearable 6 months. He brought nothing to table. No memorable promos. Took part in three of the worst matches of his career frankly. shyt needs to be called out... Orton has been having a terrible 2017 after a very disappointing 2015-16.

And I don't even care for indie guys.

His latest run has gone on for about a year. From what I remember hes basically done 3 things:

Lesnar match/feud, decent Summerslam main event and buildup

Jinder feud, where he's helped make a former job guy, probably requested to do so

And Wyatt program, which started OK and ended up being trash.

That's not a bad run imo.

I know few former 10x+ world champs would give as much to a former jobber in his 1st main event program as Ortons giving Jinder right now.
