The guy telling Sherrod to beat up Namond outside the gym is the same guy who Colvin takes to the academic to show that he should use younger kids for his project.

I think the guy in prison here with the hot shots (2:55) is the same guy who walks with Randy & Dukie after the dice game.

He was greedy, selling cuttys stuff off first and keeping the extra money. Tho I doubt theyd war iver losing a g of sales which is like 20 min work. That should not have started anything really. If the numbers were down that bad then it had to be the terriroty thing not him making a extra g on the side. Tho its a cool lil sidepiece of info.
So it kinda caused it in a way in that after Fruit told Marlo his numbers were down, that's when Marlo told him to do something about it, and Fruit took his people down to beat down Bodie's crew. After that beat down, that's what lead Bodie to telling String and String setting up the meeting with Marlo, and the war started after that.

Above the fray.
I don’t understand how this works. Shouldn’t this make Fruit’s numbers look better?

He stole $1,000 worth of drugs from Cutty and probably sold all of it. Wouldn’t he be adding some of this money to the “reported” totals to make himself look better to Marlo? (I’m guessing he pocketed the rest).

I think they would have warred regardless. Marlo was swinging his golf club and told Bodie and his people to leave. They didn’t leave, and got attacked with bats. Stringer was told about this and did nothing except try to negotiate again with Marlo. Marlo had no interest and was ready for war, but Stringer had no interest in war.

Once Avon was out, he was going to war for his corners, even if Bodie’s crew hadn’t been beaten down. He was pissed about how much territory they lost.
Yeah, a member brought up that theory earlier. Guess he and the guy who tweeted it heard it from the same content creator.
Like I said earlier, Fruit knew who he worked for and the consequences for skimming.

When Marlo went to check things out, Bodie's crew had set up shop midway down the block facing Fruit's strip. He easily could have cut into their foot traffic of fiends by doing that.

Marlo Avon war was inevitable.

The 12th episode, Cleaning Up, is when Levy basically tells Stringer & Avon to kill the security lady and anyone else that can hurt them. She gets killed not too long after. Wee-Bey should have been in Philly by then, so who killed her?
Have another theory.

In that episode they edit it so that Wallace's demise is shown right before a scene where Daniels/Mcnulty are seen trying to find him and prevent it.

I think they edited an earlier part of the episode in a similar way.

The stripper who wears The Wire is shown sitting in the makeup/mirror area next to Avon's office, trying to capture audio.
Sitting next to her is another stripper.
Two Baltimore goons are shown next them. One of them tries to compliment and pick up the other hooker. She tells him to get his money up, first.
His words "That's why we're here. To talk about a package"
Avon opens the door, before the goons go in, the guy says to stripper, "yeah, I'm a hook you up with some uncut".

Cops raided Avon's stashes the episode right before that, so when I first watched that episode, I thought they were ,or represented ,a new connect. But I think they were random hitters that Avon contracted out to hit the security lady. No connection to his organization, and paid them off afterwards with a package of drugs.

Those guys appear on screen, are shown being lead into Avon's office.....next scene is the security lady's body

I want to slap this dude every time he's on screen and I don't know why. He just annoys me.

Good catch, that makes more sense. Wee-Bey was in Philly, the other muscle dead/locked up, and they clearly make it known from the conversation with Levy that the security lady is still alive at the moment.

Levy was such a scumbag. Definitely that type of criminal/lawyer rather than a criminal lawyer that Jesse talked about on BB.

Dude was basically ordering hits.

Wallace wasn’t even the one who noticed the stickup kid playing pinball. It was Poot.

Wallace did have the presence of mind of page Dee and wait for String & everyone to come by, while Poot didn’t think they would show up. But it looks like Poot didn’t get any of the bounty money, while Wallace got $500
