Thuliso Dingwall is the most made up name I've ever heard in my fukkin life
What do you think of this scene here with Avon & Stringer? It’s not too long after the prisoners get killed with the hot shots. D’Angelo doesn’t want anything to do with Avon and won’t try to get his sentenced reduced. Stringer makes the big decision in the next episode.
By the way he was talking at the end of that conversation, I sort of felt like Avon was close to making that decision himself. Like he was justifying it in his mind and wanted reassurance from Stringer.
I felt that way too.
Actually they did for a brief moment in season 3... right after Avon got out. McNulty, Kima, and Syndor (I believe) were surveilling Bodie and his crew trying to figure out a way to get a tap on his phone. McNulty was like: "I know a way. I go over it tomorrow. Let's hit the bar....I'm buying."Another thing that I find interesting is Bodie and Stringer's relationship. It felt like Bodie was somewhat of a protege. Also funny how Bodie and Avon had no parts speaking to each other.
Yeah I know but they never had scenes where they spoke to each other where we heard the dialogue. Not a big deal just found it interesting considering how many scenes he had with Stringer. Definitely was intentional on the writers part. Just not sure why.Actually they did for a brief moment in season 3... right after Avon got out. Right after they leave, Avon pulls up in the SUV and daps up Bodie.
However, if they didn't seem to have that close of a bond it's due to extended chain of command.
On the flipside, Michael was arm's length from Marlo from the jump. Had he been in the Barksdale he likely would not have been that close to Avon either.
Agree.Another thing that I find interesting is Bodie and Stringer's relationship. It felt like Bodie was somewhat of a protege. Also funny how Bodie and Avon had no parts speaking to each other.
Nah he didn't give Kevin bad advice. Kevin didn't tell him he was the one who set up Lex and also didn't tell him that he got Randy involved in itAgree.
Bodie was being groomed by String the entire time. And he passed every test.
There's a sequence where he's sent out of town on an errand. Things go left, he knows he might get hit....and he goes right back, mans up and tells the truth about what happened and why everything doesn't add up.
Only to find out that String had him tailed and was testing whether he would stand tall and accept whatever the penalty was.
Being groomed by an organization and learning accountability ends up biting Bodie in the ass. When he's under Marlo, he still operated the same way and ended up giving Little Kev bad advice.

I'm pretty sure if Bodie knew everything about that situation he would've told Kevin something different
Yep. Little Kevin fukked up by not following simple instructions, bringing a random kid into it, and telling the kid what happened to Lex.
He also gives like the most unconvincing denial ever when Marlo asks him if he told Randy.
Bodie didn’t know about all that extra info.
Sherrod, or the actor who played Sherrod, was there for one of the revenge killings after Cheese’s dog fight
Most important season of the show.As time went on, season 2 was really dope
