But he gave them Marlo for the wire tap...and then snitched about the wire tap
According to Freamon and McNulty,Did they ever mention how much Avon and Marlo's operation would bring in a day or month?
According to Freamon and McNulty,
22k from one morning in the Pit
Around 30k adding in the corners
Around 60k a day
$20-25 million a year
After expenses (i.e. 75k a month to political contributions), clearing around a million a month
Game Day episode from season 1. It's right before the part where Daniels confronts Herc and Carver for skimming off the top of the dope money they took from Wee-Bay.You know what scene? YouTube link?
I take it that’s from season 1

- There was another dude in the room when Stringer went to Slim Charles to get clay Davis hit. You see him after he told the new dude to GTFOH.
- When Brianna was staring at Stringer when she asked to speak to Avon. It wasn't just about D'Angelo it's because she realised he was shady once D'Angelo's chick said she was fukking with Stringer.
In the 1st episode when Weebay takes D'angelo out of the car to explain the rules of no talking in the car.. they walk under a restaraunt with Burgers laveled above Weebay symbolizing Beef (he could handle beef, he starts beef etc), and Chicken is labeled above D'angelo, this was a purposeful shot as explained by Dave Simon on the DVD commentary
Mind. Blown.
season 1 stringer probably would've stood tall...but by season 3 he had morphed into an unloyal snake with one foot out the game. once he got arrested from the wire tap he definitely would've snitched on Avon (for a second time) and cut a plea deal.Had Stringer lived, do we think he'd be able to stand tall in the face of hard time? Remember that McNulty caught him on the wire so he was going down no matter what.
I'm leaning towards yes because at the end of Season 1, he expected to be arrested with Avon and didn't seem concerned. Now if he would've commanded that same respect as Avon in the pen is a different story.
