As far as I know, I’ve seen separate interviews from both saying it’s done. No idea why it never dropped. There’s a Mystikal album produced by Mannie that never came out either
label politics most likely

Never heard of the Phonte, Cole and Drake track
The reference track Em did has 2 verses meants for DreCrack A Bottle was originally a Detox single?![]()
There's a different version of Dipset Anthem when it was titled "Gangsta Music" and the chorus was different but Juelz had to change it because I think Scarface wouldn't clear a sample. I don't remember all the details but I remember this.
Pharrell saying the Ray J “Wait a Minute” beat was for Eminem. Said eminem did 1 verse then never came back to the studio to work with him
Yep. I definitely remember that version and preferred it over the more common one now. I can never find that version. I want to say 50 even had a freestyle in which he did an interpretation of the original chorus.
As far as for this thread, it seems that Jay-Z and Busta Rhymes had beef. Well it was more on Busta for being offended by what Jay had said on ‘What More Can I Say..’ Busta supposedly had a a diss track ready and Kay Slay was going to drop it, but Busta was trying to backtrack. Kay was pissed and started to call Busta out.
I always found the Nas/Murda Inc connection especially weird considering Preme killed E Money Bags who was really close friends with Nas, and Irv being close with Jay and Nas and Jay being in a rap feud at the time.I still don’t know what the Nas and Murder Inc thing was about
Nas's original God's Son is something that gets lost in the shuffle. The version that was released was a more "peaceful" album than the one he was going to release. Nas was about to Makaveli the game, but decided near the last minute to change the direction of the album. He was letting everybody have it. Some of the titles were:
F Hot (getting at Hot 97)
Grimey Ways
Crabs In A Barrel
My Will (part of this leaked as "Honeymoon Over")
There was an alternate version of "Hey Nas" produced by The Tracmasters featuring XO. "Ridin' Broke" was the Braveheart joint instead of "Zone Out". The album was 12 songs as the tracklist was up on Amazon.
