Nas being one of the first rappers to do a ama in cyber space on MTV.com in the late 90s early. I found the transcript recently and can't find it now

Bone Thugs Mr. Bill Collector featuring Eazy - there’s a muffled version out there with Eazy’s verse but no one knows if it’s real.

Jay-Z getting hit over the head by Big Pun at a club.

Ghostface confronting 50 and throwing him down some stairs after How To Rob came out.

Jay-Z being taped up and robbed in the west coast by Death Row goons on Suge orders.

G Unit and Eminem, Dre didnt want to be around, backing down Suge Knight during the In Da Club video shoot.

Suge Knight starting the Eazy-E got shot up with AIDS rumor.

Wu and Bone had words on and off wax.

That Nas and Murder Inc. link-up... dude seemed all in until right after "the Pledge". About two months tops.
Nas would have blown his career signing with them...

I give Nas credit.. dude can analyze the shyt out of situations. He saw through Irv dumb ass. Irv was just mad at Jay.

This was more so a power play as Irv needed someone strong in their corner against 50 Cent. Nas had a history with 50 and 50 was mad at Nas for the J. Lo collabo because he was removed. So Irv looked at it as signing Nas would've been a power move against 50. Eminem and Dre had too much respect to go at Nas. Murder Inc lost the streets with all those R&B records and Nas would've given them huge street credibility.

Thing is, Nas would've gained nothing from the deal.
