Everyone talks about how Boss was a "Fake gangster" or whatever but literally on the intro of her album is a voice message from her mom saying how she grew up in a suburban household, went to catholic school and took tap dance and ballet lessons, how she went to college for 3 years, etc...

But nikkas act like this didn't happen, and years later act like it was new information when an article about her came out. nikkas killed her for being fake or "hiding her background" when she did the exact opposite.

CS. And I banged the hell outta that album...

I got one. No one seems to remember that Drake on Comeback Season was basically like an audition tape to join the Just Us League movement that the group Little Brother was heralding at the time. He was way more in line with the LBs and Kanyes of the world. When he randomly ended up with Wayne it was weird as hell to me because I bumped Comeback Season heavy but clearly he adjusted his sound well and made it work.

Watching that Snoop and DMX Verzuz a few weeks back and seeing X rap along to song of Snoop’s songs kinda surprised me for the simple fact that I remember X doing an interview a while back saying the only rap peers he even rocked with was Nas and Scarface. I think I remember him saying either in the same or different interview that he don’t rock with that gangbanging bullshyt rap.
