Dre and Snoop "Make up to break up" album.. it seems like it was officially announced at one point but not really. Felt like a giant rumor.

ODB's posthumous album. Came and went like a fart in the night.

Mos Def Black Jack Johnson album with a full band.. there was ads in magazines for it.

Beats by the Pounds becoming the Medicine Men.. they made absolutely no noise after all those hits they made for No Limit

this made my search for this track again.

That Nas and Murder Inc. link-up... dude seemed all in until right after "the Pledge". About two months tops.

That's gotta be the leader.

Mos Def album produced by Mannie Fresh

Kanye, Lupe and Pharrell super group

Both faded into oblivion. Least we got a track from CRS.

Roc Marciano and Alchemist did an album in between Marcberg and Reloaded (before Roc blew up on the indie scene) and Roc was asking so much for it from labels that no one wanted to pay for it. A friend of mine with a pretty dope ear was working at a label at the time, heard it, and surprisingly told me he didn't think it all that dope (even though he was a fan of both guys' music.) Alchemist also has a little project with Styles P somewhere in the vaults.

Actually have heard the Roc & Al one. Somehow, it sounded like a dud apparently.

THERE WAS A HUGE THREAD ON SOHH.

SAIGON WON THAT UNANIMOUSLY
TO THE POINT THAT PPL SAID
RHYMEFEST GHOST WROTE IT.

Remember that. Year or two later when Sai dropped GSNT, Just came into the thread and was talking to people.

Jay Z on the Oh Boy Remix. Cam said it was so bad he destroyed the tape being the only one to ever hear it.

That I've actually never heard.

LL Cool J importance to Hip Hop culture.
There is a generation of those born after 1996 that have no recolection of LL as a pioneering act of Def Jam in the 80s

They may have a vague memory of his 3rd act of his career in the early 2000s.

He has been a actor on CBS for a while.

Also currently he isnt regarded or celebrated or honored in proportion to his importance to the genre of Hip Hop.

Dej Loaf (who is of East African descent) old racist tweets toward native black Americans. Using racial slurs.

She never really got a real consequential backlash for that.

It's like it didn't even happen and artist worked with her anyway.
