I was just saying the other day, does this man feel no shame sampling all these hip hop and r&b songs from the past when he's suppose to be an afrobeat artist. where are the afrobeat hits? he's is desperate for a hit after Rema and Wizkid both had mega hits. but they doth did it with actual afrobeat sounds.

Hell White Country and Rock and Roll musicians have never felt any shame so why should he. Afro beats borrows from R&B anyway so I don't see the problem. Imitation is the greatest form of flattery.

To the unintelligent who who are SEEKING out things to be offended by, sure.

But to paraphrase, he said that Italian-Americans, Chinese-Americans etc have an identity in America because they "know where they are from" and invited African-Americans to come back to Africa.

While I don't agree with this notion because AfrAms have a very unique identity, he wasn't trying to be disparaging. He's just never grown up in the States so he's speaking on an issue he doesn't really have knowledge of.

Wizkid is the best of his generation
