The problem with Noah dying is they were making him out to be useful in the episode and ongoing in the future. He was getting head shots covering people, was ready to learn and build.... and then he dies one of the goriest deaths in the show.

And Rick and them are just seeing how horrible that place is run and they need to be exposed before either walkers or worse other humans come in and kill everybody.

You do know that he caused Bob's death right? He became a bytch because when it was time to defend the group he couldn't, if a man threatening to kill a baby couldn't snap him out of his softness then nothing would. Noah was actually good with the gun which is why he was getting complimented by the group during their run.
That's not it, Rick is so paranoid that his instinct now is to take over instead of working together. The last time he wanted to co-habitat with a group was the prison and look at how that turned out. The problem is now he's so blinded by the past he can't see when people are genuinely trying to help his group.
