True. But thats why the governer is supposed to be Mexican, not white. And Tyresese is supposed to be seeing Michonne so the significance of the sword being used comes through. White Supremacy does not compartmentalize, it absorbs everything in its path. So in order to do minor racism they have to ensure a larger racist system is in place. They can't just screw the black characters or it won't work. They need to make all the major mexican characters (like the Governer) white also. They need to make sure not to show bonds between the black characters they do introduce like Michonne/Tyreese or Michonne comforting Gabriel, etc...I couldn't imagine the vitriol in this thread if Tyreese got his head chopped off by the "cac non-Mexican" Governor.

I get what youre saying and would agree if this was the current world. But in the world they live in, he's nothing but dead weight if he doesn't contribute. When they were wandering and looking for shelter, he was esentially useless after admitting he didn't know the cure. He had no value and refusing to kill or handle a gun re-enforced the fact he had no value especially in this world.

If i remember right that old guy with the RV from back in the earlier season was leaving for a new show and he got a gruesome (at the time) death too. I guess of you leaving for another show u going to die in a big way
