Mickey and Dave did their job. He couldn't do this as a Met prior to this year. I don't trade him.
I don't trade DeGrom either. fukk these people that want to tear the house to go through this process again and again. EVERYTHING begins and ends with ownership. If that doesn't change, then team will continue to be fukked no matter who the players, coaching staff, trainers, or minor league affiliates are.

As much as I love DeGrom 2015 was a fluke and it's time to burn it to the ground. We can build around synderguaard in the meantime. DeGrom is pushing 30 and Itd be unfair to hold him too much into his prime. This team is a joke and honestly he deserves better.

We also have no prospects in our farm system so we do need to rebuild that and teams will pay a lot of a pitcher who would be first in CT young voting if his team weren't so trash

deGrom is 30... but he doesn't have a lot of mileage on that arm. I believe he's pitched less than 1000 innings.

I'd rather not trade any of these guys, but I would need assurance and action in that the team will aggressively pursue and acquire legitimate talent in free agency. I'm talking Manny Machado at a bare minimum plus 3 more and would love AJ Pollock (injury issues aside).

The Sox traded for a starter so that's a good sign because the Yanks will want to one up them. The Sox and Yanks also has scouts at the game yesterday.

On the other hand, Wilpon still owns the team.

I honestly can’t understand why MLB doesnt step in. This has nothing with me being s Met fan either. The utter incompetence is just mind boggling.

Bad decision after bad decision. :hhh:

Makes no sense. Ricco was in the Mets organization before Sandy. He's a Wilpon guy through and through.
They mess around with the day to day and don't allow the GM to do what the GM thinks is best and then when shyt doesn't work out, they put it all on them. Sucka shyt.
