I like Allen but he git way too reckless in the second half of the season, the whole team did. That Von injury altered their trajectory. Allen is the real deal but he's got plenty of room to grow...

This is actually a really dope comparison...

The AFC is so loaded with young QBs. Mahomes was here first abd was the first to climb the mountain, so he deserves the benefit of the doubt. But it's still way early to know who is gonna be who...

Mahomes himself is only in Y6. Allen just finished Y5. Burrow and Herbert are finishing Y3...

That isn't even to mention a few others who could potentially force their names into this class: Deshaun (Y6); Lamar (Y5); Tua (Y3); Trevor (Y2); Pickett (Y1)...

That's NINE QBs in Y6 or shorter that all still likely have their ceilings in front of them. I've long said the 00s and 10s were the golden age of pro football quarterbacking, but The League has never been this stacked in one conference, ever. It's unbelievable...

Point being, Mahomes gets the benefit of the doubt because he did everything first, so everyone else is chasing him, but thats more a factor of age as much as anything else. If, and it's a big if, but if he's outplayed by Burrow in two consecutive AFCCGs, are we still of the mind that Burrow is the inferior of the two? Allen's big issue is inconsistency, at his absolute best, last year divisional round, he is as great as Mahomes, play for play. He's only in Y5, plenty of room to improve, if he ever matches Mahomes' consistency, what happens?

It's in style today to act as if Deshaun is a nobody, but his first four seasons were absolutely brilliant, he was at worst a step behind Mahomes in productivity. If he ever regains that form, where are we putting him? A whole lotta posters on here are Lamar Stans, if he is who yall think he is, then what happens?

All these guys are young. Mahomes has the lead because he was here first but no one has separated from the pack yet. I do like the quartet comp, those were the Big 4 AFC guys of the Golden Era, my only thing is we don't know who the 4 will be. But the 4 you named are strong bets...

🤣 goddammit....

Are we sure the Bengals aren't the top dog?

Well if the bengals beat the chiefs again, then the bengals are the top dog in the afc going into next season

When Buffalo played teams with some type of offense this year, their defense was giving up 20 plus points a game to those teams

Last 2 games gave up 58 points

Secondary to small and they have no ends to get to the QB

Offensively u should be embarrassed… u at home and playing in your so called weather but Cincinnati look like the ones who felt more comfortable

Question, what happens if he is outplayed two years in a row by Burrow on his home field? Do the 2x MVPs and '19 SB still give him grace?

Won't be able to blame this on injury because he was healthy last year and lost to the same guy (if he loses again this year)...

Burrow is right there with him, only thing that'll change my mind is if Burrow goes out and chokes or is outplayed terribly, the way Mahomes choked and got outplayed last year. Things happen and analysis changes with new information, I'm not married to having Burrow with him...

But I'm also not married to Mahomes standing alone...

Bruh aint no outplayed. They are never on the field at the same time. They don't go against eachother.

It sucks because I wanted them to win because of Damar, but I can't feel bad for them too much knowing how that fanbase treated other fanbases and how they absolutely believed their own hype at the beginning of the season.

It's not a choke when you lose to the reigning AFC champs.
Why not? They were favored by 6
I think its the other way around. We haven't given the Bengals enough credit.
This is the real problem. Wouldn't be looked at as a choke if the Bengals were getting proper credit going in to the game.

But to not be able to muster up one TD pass with Eli Apple on one side and a rookie on the other and the DB that specializes in covering TE's was out with an injury and being replaced by another rookie that hasn't played that role all season....makes you think maybe he's not Superman afterall.

I’ve been on the fire McDermott train since AFC Champ game 2020.

He’s a perfect coach for a Houston or Carolina organization right now.

He won’t take you from good to great tho.

We are going to waste the best player to ever put a Bills helmet on. Legit going to walk away without a Super Bowl because of our stupidity to fire a defensive HC who claps 24/7 and drafts nothing but crap defensive talent every year.

It's Aaron Rodgers all over again.
