Earlier this season I would have agreed but considering the injuries we have endured this the defense for the most part has held steady more often then not.
This..... practically every game there has been a situation where a time has tried us on 4th and short and Saleh called you something that stopped the opponent and got us the ball back.
I know the players are playing well and we have had a lot of success with the talent we got.
But Saleh hasn’t really completely shyt the bed on us this year. They worst really the D looked was against NO, but I think in the grande scheme of things.... that was great moment for the world to finally see what Jimmy can do and quiet some of the noise against him cuz prior to that game if one ask the masses “can he out duel Brees” the answer would be 100% YES.
I don’t necessarily want to lose Saleh unless we can get something back with equal value or better. Cuz I don’t care how great y’all think this defense is or how good the talent is. If we get a shytty DC to replace him.... we probably gonna be back to the days when maybe we can score but don’t have a defense that can contain and we either lose a lot of close games or have some blow out losses on bad offensive days
