Either way.... Harbs did something that Mooch, Erickson, Nolan, Singletary, Tomsula, Kelly, and thus far Kyle hasn’t done.

Hating on him now is kinda revisionist history and had we won the SB the only 3 times we been in the playoffs under Harbs since Mooch, we’d be comparing him to Seifort right now.

just to name a few and the (*) is for the guys that were PRO BOWLERS with him.

And this ain’t even talking about an offense that had;
Steve Young*, Garcia*, Rice* (who was still productive) T Owens*, JJ Stokes, Brent Jones, Keven Gohan*, G Hearst*, Fred Beasley, Charlie Garner*, Greg Clark, Jeremy Newberry*, Ray Brown*, Ron Stone*, Eric Johnson.

Na man.... Mooch had some really good teams too

And yes, Sing, Nolan and Tomsula had no business being HC, but we can’t deny the fact that they was and Harbs came in and in one year took Nolan/Singletary/Tomsula team from a 6-10 team to a 13-3.

Adding only Aldon Smith, Kaep, Culliver, Hunter, Kilgore to a team that already had VD, Gore, Staley, Justin Smith, Willis, Bowman, and etc.


They literally overnight went from laughable pretenders to contenders overnight and the next few years was a top 3-4 team in the league

I can never forget that game (one of the main games TO blew up on him for but everyone got mad at TO) against Chicago how we was KILLING THEM then allowed them to come back and win. Mooch talking about how “he respected the coach on the other side and coaches in the league in general and never wanted to show no one up”

Cuz I get that we draft these really good young players with low contracts but the moment they ball out and outplay they contract.... some of y’all be ready to dump them and move on to the next guy while said player is still playing very well and possibly in their prime.

But if we indeed decide to let him walk.... we for DAMN SURE better get someone back in return that plays just as well if not better.

Him back there has made the game much easier for Buck, Bosa, Ford, and etc other guys do their jobs.

If we let him walk and the next man comes in cheaper but can’t produce at the same level or if we pay money to other guys in other positions that’s now not producing.
