Yeah like @Electric Relaxation said just looking at that the oil was way too hot.
If the oil was too cold the breading would be all soggy/falling off, and probably wouldn't have cooked the inside.


If you're looking to try frying and don't have much experience (and even if you do) use an deep fry thermometer to make sure you're not wasting your time.

There's all kinds of tricks to telling if the oil is ready (like using a wooden spoon) but thermometers make it easy.

Oil too hot.

Needs to be hot but not burning hot.

Drop a pinch of flour in and see if it sizzles or burns.

Sizzles means it's ready, burns means you need to turn it down.

If y'all don't get some flour and cornmeal and use that seasonin' in the cabinet back at the crib. Get the Canola oil.



nah, use the corolla oil brehs…. Make sure you ask for the propanium tank. It’s specific to fish….
