“You have to stay that’s just the job”
Is that what company legal counsel said?

I'm not mad at it and I understand it. I would only do that if I don't value the job in any way though. For example something as little as a reference from a manager can be majorly important for a future job. Obviously you can fake this to an extent.
Oh I agree it can go either way really. I remember when I had a main job and a part-time job years ago I was like that and didn't give a fukk about that job lol.True. There are limits to bucking the system if you plan on elevating within it. But overall, I think the willingness of what seems to be the majority (anecdotal of course) of Gen Z to call out bullshyt is going to have good effects on the system.
SeattleWhat city was this in?
They may be looking for any little reason to fire her from now on...
Quick, let her grip your sack and then claim sexual harassment.
Most of my team(well former I'm quitting on monday and starting a new one the monday after) are zoomers and they are complete morons.
You gave yourself away trying to bait. Millennials are the ones who started the shift regarding the workforce. Who do you think got corporations to fold to “mental health days”, mandated PTO and was the reason that WFH jobs are even an option? Gen Z isn’t old enough or numerous enough or clouted in the corporate structure enough to force those industry changes.Manager: Sarah, we’re swamped I need you to stay until this rush is over
Sarah: My schedule says 9-3, and I will be leaving at 3 on the dot.
Manager: I understand what the schedule says but if you're still needed then you have to stay. That's just the job
Sarah: I don't have to do anything you're not God you're just my manager. The schedule says 3, at 3 I'm leaving and that's that.
I decided to wait in the parking lot an extra couple of minutes to see how this played out and sure enough at 3 this chick walked smooth out of that bytch and it was PUMPING.
Millennials would've begrudgingly worked until the rush was over.
I think even with incentives being the same they would still be ready to buck authority at the drop of a dime. I've seen several instances of them having no problem speaking their mind in situations that my generation would've just bit our tounge.
Joe Budden spoke on this recently. He met some younger fans and shook their hands while he was eating and one of them said to him “you just gonna shake my hands with grease all on em?”
^^^ That's some new shyt.
It's a vegan/vegetarian cafe and she looked to just be a college-aged chick around the same age as most of the other workers I've seen in there. I don't think she has that much skin in but rather a lack of fukks.
I'm not mad at her or the rest of her generation.
Be fair with the bullshyt. There are people told they are expected to work 40 hrs with no overtime on salary. Later, they find themselves working 50+ hrs.. Don't get mad at the younger generation not falling for the bullshyt. There's no real downside when it's fast food or retail or some other shyt like that but the problem is I've seen younger people try to pull this shyt at legit jobs, talkin bout "I need to leave..." when their contract says they can be asked to stay and that's how people end up having to repeatedly find work
Make sure you know what your contract says would be my word of advice

Yall get credit for spearheading putting pronouns in email signatures, not clocking out.
