I don’t know about all that… if you’re not talented like that then I can understand this mindset…. and this ain’t no diss… I’ve seen rockstar developers(not the video game) talk to upper management like they were less than crow shyt and get away with it because of their talent…. Same goes for a lot of other coworkers I worked with… Only people who don’t have options tolerate the disrespect or try to make sense of it over time
Well personally I don’t have those problems soo :yeshrug: Don’t have to cuss anybody out. I can say yes I want the OT or no I don’t want it. You def have more leeway if you’re more talented, that’s a given. You just have these younger people who don’t bring much to the table trying to pull the moves like OP was talking about. I mean you’re in an era where companies are getting rid of actual talented people in purpose to hire younger folks that they can pay less to. You just have to watch out out here.

Well.. I thought the premise was that the young person met their obligations and chose to go home as opposed to kowtowing to some imaginary corporate principle that does not benefit them… Outside of that, I agree with your post for the most part… Some of these youngins are a strange breed indeed once they get into the corporate environment

Millennials paved the way. I'm 33 and have absolutely told supervisors/managers the exact same shyt.

Any time I have to work in the office I take pto time to work half a day. The work is steady and gets done but older dudes be jealous as a mofo.

It’s crazy how you get shame for being you. Like if you don’t like me fire me. I ain’t complaining I’ll live off unemployment.

These older adults took everything and left us with scraps before we even knew what was going on. Kiss my ass while I live free.

The future of this country is so f’d it’s beyond us. All because boomers
