You're right about retail. The women I've 'dated' from that industry are in their mid to early 20s. And that's the reason I don't consider them long term because the majority of them aren't fresh out of college looking to parlay into a career. For them, that job is their life.

I don't find what they do attractive. If they look good and I get on with them, it's a good start. But long term... I can't wife a woman who doesn't have any skills be it domestically or career wise. I'd like a woman that's cultured who doesn't think social media and watching reality TV is a hobby.

And then with career women... they're expecting commitment straight away. They think any man over 30 that doesn't want to settle down has "Peter Pan syndrome" but those women tend not to be wife material. They think their career is enough to make a guy settle down. Their idea of seduction is very parochial.
The career woman probably gonna try to compete with you if y’all make the same. Not saying all do, but I can see it.

I would love balance. I don’t want a housewife but I don’t want a woman working 60 hours a week either. If I can find a educated woman who stays in shape has a true passion and can even work part time I’d be cool with that. Combine the youth and beauty of the retail chick with the education and experience of the career woman would be nice. Lol

I’m in the military and I despise housewives to be honest lol. Most of them do nothing but complain, gossip, and spend all their dudes money.

Whatever meets their needs and goals, and fits their qualifications, skills, and experience level. I can’t tell you a one size fits all number. My friends and I all make different salaries because we are all in different careers. Research what you should make for your career, based on industry, title, skills, qualifications, years of experience, etc.
You said that $18 an hour salary is low for your age range, so what is considered not low ? Just asking your opinion

They tend to have a competitive nature and that's to be expected. They didn't make it to the top being soft.

Ironically though... that tends to hurt their femininity in many cases. They lose that softness a lot of women naturally have and that's a huge turn off. Hence their idea of seduction are their accomplishments. ... shyt that does nothing for a man.

:manny:I don’t believe many black women are single to be honest (especially the college educated ones).

But she is right about striving for more than 18/hr. That’s barely above minimum wage in NYC.

In a relationship versus in a relationship with who they really want to be with or envision themselves as "deserving"...that's a very different conversation, and a very dark rabbit hole few want to explore.

Also: the implicit commentary that single women want/need sponsors, regardless of how much they themselves make, even if only on a psychological basis because they're soooo "successful", is far more telling than they realize.

when women say there’s no good men out here that really means.

“ I can’t find a guy who is 6”3, rich, high status, good looking that wants to be exclusive with just me over any other chick out here”

That's why dudes will take the young waitress over the tenured salaried professional.

Easier to impress and less headbutting...

Super turn-off, chicks love to brag about money as long as they make more, even if it’s a no degree having job.

Don’t wanna sound like a fukked up dude, but I need a humble chick that’s gonna act like we together, not compete with me or thinks she’s better, if she works a shytty job so be it.

In an ideal world... if I could find a woman with that balance between being a housewife and a go getter then I'd be happy. But that's the male version of wanting Tupac in a business suit.

People can want who they want. A huge part of the problem is that "I deserve" mindset. Bad things happen to good people all the time, good things come to pass for bad people all the time. "Deserve" doesn't have anything to do with anything. Honest self-analysis and personal responsibility has to come first. Anything else is just hustling backwards.

Real life ain't a Disney fable.

What the fukk does sigle women have to do with a man making 18 an hour?

Second 18 an hour is bad especially if a person is getting OT.

3rd who is to say these single women even making 18 an hour.

I swear social media is where all the mentally ill folks go to play.

That’s what I was wondering...That post makes no sense at all.
