Yall realize you can be black w/o being ADOS right. Its like saying an Irish American cant speak for White Americans. Clown shyt. And we wonder why we WS is gaining steam. We busy fighting each other:mjlol::mjlol:

The issue here is -- Black Americans/ADOS to us "Black" = ethnicity and race. To everyone else it = race.

When used to be identified/labeled as "Black Americans - it was our culture/ethnicity --- as well as race. And we still look at it like that.

Everyone else sees anyone who lives in America -- with Black skin - as AA/Black American --meaning apart of our culture -- and unique ethnicity. That is the issue.

Here are Beyonce and her cousins:

Here is Kamala Harris:
Kamala-Harris1.jpg

Like I said earlier, she could pass as Beyonce's older cousin or Aunt. If you can't tell she'sa black woman then I can't help you. Most black people can tell who our people are. We not like white people. You are either non-black or have a poor ability to spot your own people if you think Kamala Harris looks non-black.

My two aunts, my uncle and my grandfather are as light as her. The rest of us are various shades of dark brown, brown and light brown. Black people are a mixed bag. Acting like there aren’t tons of people out here with her look is silly and false. Will Smith and his kids are the same skin tone as Kamala.

She a fraud I'm goin with Biden

:russ: What a moron.

I don't mind if you got a problem with Kamala Harris. I think she's an awful candidate as well mostly cause of her track record as a politician. But how is a racist white man a better option?

You guys don't even realize how stupid you sound saying this stuff? Support no one if you ain't gonna support someone who is black but is descended from Jamaican slaves rather than American slaves.

This is not about skin-tone/race. This is about ethnicity/lineage - ADOS -- meaning her ancestors were enslaved in AMERICAN - colonial and antebellum era. We are a unique, specific culture, ethnicity and people. We are proud of that.

I understand the challenging -- and I agree with it. All skinfolk are not kinfolk.

I don't know what to call them. It's their choice. Many of them claim their parents ethnicity/culture -- as they should -- and make it known they are not Black American/AA in terms of ethnicity/culture.

Again -- she can claim and be "Black" in terms of race/skin-color. She can.

But, this is about her ethnicity/culture. She is not African-American/Black American in terms of ethnicity/culture. And that is what I am saying and what other ADOS/Black Americans are saying.

I can't go to Jamaica and say I'm Jamaican. Sure, I will be Black (race) -- but in Jamaica -- I will be African-American/Black American. I can't speak for them -- I can't get on TV and be like -- as a Jamaican. And they have every right to call me out on it!

Just cause my family immigrated to Jamaica and went to a Black Jamaican College -- does not make me a Black Jamaican.
Ok just for clarity you consider the terms ADOS, African American, Black American, Afram synonymous? If so, I consider all of those but Black American synonymous. I use the term Black Americans to refer to other Diasporans born here in the states. Kamila was born in Oakland California and her father is Jamaican. I consider her Black American not African American/Ados/Afram. With that being said, when has she claimed to be ADOS and when did we start assuming that only ADOS experience racism or prejudice? If she is claiming to be ADOS then I could understand why Tone is upset but she was speaking about her experience as a Black Woman in America.

Incels really about to tear down this black woman for not being black enough so they go vote for a white candidate that’s 0% black :pachaha:

This is what boggles my mind. I would never vote for Kamala Harris. But I ain't gonna turn around and vote for Joe Biden instead. It totally defeats the purpose.

If you gonna say a half black woman from Jamaica ain't good enough to represent your interest, then surely a racist old white man who supported segregation shouldn't get your vote. :mjlol:

OH ok-- I get it.

YES! I do.

I have and my parents, family - have identified as Black Americans - meaning ADOS - that for us means ethnicity/culture/race. I also lay claim to AA/Afram -- as TO ME = ADOS.

So....

Black = race

BUT....

Also - in America -- Black = ethnicity/culture specifically ADOS. And that is what the issue is.

So, Kamala is Black (race) sure - -if she wants to claim that. But, she is not Black American/AA in terms of ethnicity/culture/lineage -- and that is why she is being called out. DO NOT use our stories and ancestors as something to exploit when you want to.

:what: Are you retarded breh?

If what you're doing as a black man is supported by openly racist white people, then what you're doing is definitely not good for your community. That's the litmus test for c00ning. If crakkkas on Fox News are openly supporting you, that should let you as a black man that what you're doing is probably not good for our people.

White people like Trump and Coulter would never support anything that ultimately helps black folks. They like shyt like this because its a way for them to divide and conquer. If you keep black people fighting with each other, then they won't join forces to take you on. Even a child can figure this out. I'm shocked you can't seem to put it together.

The KKK supported separation you idiot. There is always a way to use somebodys force against them. You go left I use the fact you go left for my own agenda.

Its the game of war.

Black people want TRUE REPRESENTATION. NOT "PEOPLE OF COLOR", NOT "BLACK PEOPLE" we want the people with OUR HISTORY AND OUR SITUATION TO BE RECOGNIZED INDEPENDANTLY because they represent OUR INTERESTS.

You keep talking about guns and warfare. Well obtaining that racial designation isn't exactly storming the beaches of Normandy is it you dumbass?

That's back in 10. She has said years after that she's not for it..

If you Jamaican and want her fine. But don't get upset ADOS ain't fw her
:what: Im just pointing out the fact that she's a liar and would say whatever she has to get votes.

She could've said she was a black woman, but specifically said she is African American which is not true

This isn’t a war. One right wing pundit attacked Kamala heritage and her liberal friends saw this as a way to tie this to ADOS.

Look I don’t like Harris or porky the pigs tap dancing ass, but Roland Martin defending Kamala Harris against Donald Trump Jr. should not have been met with resident by another black person. Thats crazy to me.

This is why I'm convinced we are dealing with non-black trolls. They're obviously using this ADOS thing to have us just fighting each other.

There are plenty of mixed black people who have an ambiguous look where they would need to tell you that they're black for you to know. Kamala Harris is definitely not one of them. She CLEARLY looks black. I was actually shocked when they said she was half-Indian. I thought she was either a light skin black woman who had two light skin black parents or she was half black and half white. Now we got idiots trying to say she's really just Indian and just pretending to be black. Only someone who is non-black would say something that preposterous.

Have that same energy for Bob Marley, Biggie Smalls, Marcus Garvey and Usain Bolt then. Y’all won’t though :yeshrug: What’s the difference between a black baby growing up in the US with black parents and a black baby growing up in the US with Nigerian parents? Both are black kids and both are going to be socialized as and treated as blacks in America. With this logic you just invalidated Obama’s entire Presidency.

  • Father is Jamaican
  • Mother is Indian. Her grandfather was a diplomat meaning her Indian lineage is from one of the higher castes. They were well to do.
  • She spent a significant portion of her youth in Canada.
  • Yes she went to Howard, but that doesn't mean she's Black.
  • The circling of the wagons around her is because the Dem machine wants her to be the nominee despite being behind Biden, Sanders and Warren.
