I wanna see her ancestry.com results. I doubt that she's more than 25% African. Every Jamaican ain't from Africa.

Even more important than her lineage, is her track record. Her record on dealing with Black people as a prosecutor, is not good. What good is having a black person in office, if they're just gonna do the same thing that white people do?

:dahell: You gotta be a cac.

Kamala Harris doesn't even look ambiguous. Anyone whose actually black can see she's black. She looks like the typical light skin black woman. She could pass as Beyonce's cousin. You calling for DNA tests to prove whether Beyonce or her cousins are black?

man get the hell outta here with this nonsense :what:

How do you think we'll get reparations without fighting? When have white people ever given up a piece of their own wealth for black people?

You really think you gonna convince these people to do whats right? Whites aren't even willing to admit police brutality exists even with video evidence of unarmed black men getting shot in the back.

Yall are delusional as fukk about the reality of our situation in this country. Unless we are willing to engage in armed resistance we ain't getting NOTHING.

The NOI and Black Panthers weren't focused on attacking other black people.

Stop comparing actual movements for the liberation of black people in this country to you ADOS clowns. All I've seen from yall is attacking other black people. I'm still waiting for ya'll to actually turn your focus on white people. It seems like ya'll seem to concerned with everything but white supremacy and white people.

The #ADOS movement isn’t attacking ANY black people. But, with the help of right wing media, your perception of them will lead you to that conclusion.

Her father is Jamaican and her mother is Indian. She is both Jamaican/black and Indian American since she was born in the states. She is not passing for any bodies white. So I don't understand the point of challenging her "Black Americaness". Just to clarify I call ADOS African Americans and I call our brothers and sisters from Africa/Caribbean/South America who were born or live here Black Americans.

I understand the challenging -- and I agree with it. All skinfolk are not kinfolk.

I don't know what to call them. It's their choice. Many of them claim their parents ethnicity/culture -- as they should -- and make it known they are not Black American/AA in terms of ethnicity/culture.

Again -- she can claim and be "Black" in terms of race/skin-color. She can.

But, this is about her ethnicity/culture. She is not African-American/Black American in terms of ethnicity/culture. And that is what I am saying and what other ADOS/Black Americans are saying.

I can't go to Jamaica and say I'm Jamaican. Sure, I will be Black (race) -- but in Jamaica -- I will be African-American/Black American. I can't speak for them -- I can't get on TV and be like -- as a Jamaican. And they have every right to call me out on it!

Just cause my family immigrated to Jamaica and went to a Black Jamaican College -- does not make me a Black Jamaican.

She may not be a descendant of chattel slavery here in the states but she is still a black woman here in the states. Anyone minimizing her personal experiences regarding racism and prejudice is wrong.
Not just wrong, but stupid. People who even slight resemble black in America get the :mjpls: treatment.

Yeah, she totally looks like a typical light skinned black woman :comeon:

If I didn't know any better I'd have assumed she was a Cuban, one generation away from wiping out any blackness from her lineage. She certainly has the husband for it...

:mjlol: I think you need to stop watching CNN or listening to these idiotic political science professors at your college.

Nobody just gives up power freely. Just look at South Africa. You think that was a revolution? White people still run everything economically in that country. Mandela and the black presidents have been nothing but figure heads. Black people in South Africa are still suffering economically. Same with Egypt. You think anything has changed for the average Egyptian since Mubarak was deposed?

The only places that have had real revolutions (i.e. Cuba) where they took power did it with the gun. No people on this planet has ever gotten anything without violence.

You seem worried that black people finally recognize their unique distinction among American citizens?

This whole Kamala Harris argument boils down to loyalties...and people recognize she has an immigrant background while claiming to represent the ideas and principles as the average African American ....trying to ride that POC wave when in reality her loyalties don't line up with #ADOS.

Its a good thing this distinction is finally coming to light. If we used this criteria earlier perhaps Barack Obama would be judged differently.

Here is Kamala Harris:

Like I said earlier, she could pass as Beyonce's older cousin or Aunt. If you can't tell she'sa black woman then I can't help you. Most black people can tell who our people are. We not like white people. You are either non-black or have a poor ability to spot your own people if you think Kamala Harris looks non-black.
