There’s a serious war going on right now regarding Kamala Harris blackness and her lineage

No. And what kind of question is that? Because, I AM PROUD of who I am -- and my ancestors and family -- that correlates to looking down on other Black people?

Do you want me (ADOS) to be ashamed? I know some people think being a descendant of those who were enslaved -- or being a Black American as nothing to be proud of -- but guess what -- I am. Super proud. Doesn't make me better. We are just not the same - we have different cultures, stories experiences, lineage and ethnicities -- and that's OK.

So you're no better than a Nigerian woman on the continent, correct?

You said Kamala doesn’t represent Black people. Obama doesn’t either with your logic and people disagreed heavily with it back in 2008.

He didn't. She doesn't either.

Black people saw Black skin and was happy about that. Obama really got elected because of Michelle being ADOS. But, he clearly didn't' represent us -- nor thought our ancestors and families experience here in America was worthy of reparations.

If he said that before he got elected -- best believe he wouldn't have got elected.

People disagreed heavily with you back then and still do. We didn’t elect Michelle. We elected Barack so regardless of whatever contrarian opinion you want to cook up the black community supported him. The black community didn’t even know what a ADOS was back in 2008 :dead: That’s some new gay 2019 shyt :dead: If Barack was married to an African woman, the black community would've still come out for him....in DROVES. Black women would’ve still saw themselves in Michelle if she was African, the same way these chicks love and defend Lupita Nyongo. That’s different though right :skip: The point of Michelle was that she wasn’t a white woman which alot of successful black men had a bad reputation of marrying. He just couldn’t have been married to a white woman.

:ehh: somebody is growing

I'm trying. :youngsabo:

But, seriously -- I have never thought ADOS or I was better than any other Black person anywhere.

I honestly think a lot of push back is people being shocked Black Americans/ADOS are proud of their ancestors, culture and history. And ....me being proud -- extremely and assertively proud - maybe comes off as thinking i'm better?

But, no -- I am just proud of my people/culture/ethnicity. I think this is a new thing for many Blacks of the diaspora to witness.

What is the "Black American experience" in your opinion? I"m sure that means racism and discrimination to you correct? That isn't what is means to me. Black American experience would mean Black American culture/ethnicity/history --- and everything that comes with it. Meaning it's more than having Black skin -- and being seen as Black.
this is the problem with alot of people, they see "black"(a black american specifically) as being subject to white racism. Not the shared culture, experiences, vernacular, history etc... that comes with it.

you even see it when it comes to certain biracial people in america. alot will decide to claim black later on, not because of culture, but because white people are racist.
and i find that incredibly insulting.

i dont want my entire lineage boiled down to how white people feel.
me and my family have a glorious history and culture. you dont get to wear it like a costume because white people were mean to you a couple times.

Nah. But, we can agree to disagree. Obama got elected because of Michelle being ADOS. If it would have been a non-ADOS or a non-Black person -- he would not have gotten elected.

Exactly. To them -- "The Black American experience" = racism, discrimination and skin-tone/race. And that is the disconnect.

Remember when I called this months ago. ADOS is nothing more than an anti intellectual divisive movement, and it's already being weaponized with fake bots and trolls against a presidential candidate. The minute she entered the race there was weird traffic focusing on her, from questionable accounts. And here we are,,,

Jesse Jackson is ADOS. As are a multitude of black politicians who this movement attacks and discredits as well so...why the obsession on which land mass your ancestor was dropped off at, or taken from. Stop peddling bullshyt.

Only in a America would someone like harris be considered black.

And her track record is lacking when it comes to black issues or the issues of working class people, imo sanders despite his issues seems to be the only reasonable choice.

This is 100% bullshyt. How old are you?

Old enough. So, Obama would have been elected if he had a non-Black American wife?

You can research this. It's well-documented. Michelle and her lineage/ethnicity and education, background is what helped Obama win the Black American vote.
