I'm still holding out hope.

1. Bunch of the stuff in the trailers differ significantly from the original Cellar script.

2. the budget is higher than that poster claims. It cost 5 million alone for the supebowl spot

3. The Cloverfileld projects are built on mystery or at least obstructing the whole picture of the universe it presents.

Any test screening might deliberately hold back major spoilers regarding the monster or any links to the other film.

4. The roar we're hearing in the trailer means there's at the very least a monster somewhere.

5. The ARG revealed that john Goodman's character is a former employee of the Targruato Corporation.
The corporation discovered, studied, and experimented with seabed nectar, the parasites, and the monster.
