I don't get why people talking about motion sickness watching the movie... I don't get it, you're sitting down, how the fukk you getting motion sickness... I know we've had this discussion before on here.

Breh, that is exactly what causes motion sickness.

Motion sickness is caused by the conflict between what your senses are telling you. The most common forms are car and sea sickness where your vestibular system senses movement but your eyes are not (or disproportionally), while the opposite (your eyes sense movement, but your vestibular system doesn't) can happen when watching a movie shot in POV or playing a video game in first person.

From the trailer it appears as though the guy has a section of the bunker he has locked off because he has some type of monsters. Be them mutations or babies from the og monster. Notice he yells don't open the door you'll let them OUT...not in.

I'm guessing this takes place in a totally different part of the country. Looks like a rural area.

I hope it has something to do with the first movie but I suspect 90% of the movie is in the bunker.

You can barely make out some lights outside the window so that kinda tells you there is electricity out there. So it may just be about this crazy guy that kidnapped these two people. We've already kinda seen the world post cloverfield monster due to the first movie and we already know the world somewhat recovered.

So I'm not sure this movie has anything to do with it.

It is, some may be very sensitive to it, some may not experience it ever.
