What if an episode of The Walking Dead was set on a passenger airliner before civilization had fallen?

That’s basically what AMC is planning in a highly unusual — if not totally unprecedented — new special that’s set during the time period of the hit drama’s companion series, Fear the Walking Dead.

Here’s the plan: EW has exclusively learned AMC is producing a half-hour special that will tell a stand-alone story following a group of passengers facing a walker attack on an airline while in flight. One character who survives that encounter will then join the cast of Fear the Walking Dead in season 2. So, yes: Zombies on a Plane.

Just watched the pilot... Yall over reacting... .Its gonna be a slow burn, but a good one... Just let it cook.... The junkie kid is gonna kill...... The mom too..... There gonna pack a lot in these 6 episodes....... they just setting us up with the character types.....

Just think, if a zombie apocalypse did break out in real life, we would deny it or be in the dark until it was absolutely too late...... We would disregard it as a bird flu epidemic or something until we're the ones getting bit in the face

Yeah, people need to realize that this is the early stages of the outbreak and walkers haven't overrun society yet. Most of the in world people don't even realize something is going on, I like how this slow burn is also showing how most people don't recognize danger slowly happening around them. Plenty of time for the action and besides if you want an hour of people running from walkers The Walking Dead will be back in a minute.

My plan was we would go chill on an aircraft carrier on NOB.
Pretty much zombie proof. Plus room for plenty. Comfortable enough living
Lots of food and lots of weapons.

I'd hit up Sing Sing prison in upstate NY, right on the water and 30 foot tall walls. You could have a barge in the middle of the river just in case shyt hit the fan too escape sailboats right on the river to be out...just in case.

It could be restricted to drug users/handlers at this early point in the series. Everyone so far that we have seen turn that we have any information on has been a drug user or a drug dealer or in a drug den.

might be the best idea yet... any boat really that could fit a family.. you can anchor close by.. zombies can't swim.. you can fish.. sleep good.. ain't nobody swimming out to get you or take your shyt over

but definitely a navy ship.. you got missiles and shyt.. bomb whole towns and set up shop

i don't know if i wanna be trapped with hundreds or even thousands of people during the world ending... people dying somewhere and zombies getting in
