I think the Republican party is stacked. I've never seen the depth chart look the way that it does now. I think they have a ton of solid choices unlike the last 2012 round where most of them sat out. All in all, they aren't looking for Democrats to vote for them (cept maybe Rand Paul)...they are hoping for a larger Republican turn out.

That being said, you precisely proved my point in the bolded; Hillary's slip up is that she is no Barack Obama...and she sure isn't her husband. Even you yourself said you may not show up to vote...and that's what a lot of Republicans re banking on. A lot of them do not think that Hillary can pull off a 2008-esque Barack Obama momentous turn out for their party.

If I feel like there's a threat she'll lose to a crazy Republican, I'll show up to vote. I'm sure others feel the same way.

Same thing happened last cycle. It went from "Romney has no chance in hell of winning this. :mjlol:" to the media pushing a story of "Is Obama in danger of losing his reelection? :lupe:" I got my ass out and voted as a result.

You know what. I retract my previous scoff.

- Right now the media is enamored with this Trump fukkery. Everyone knows he's not going to be elected President and it's simply because dude is too fukking wacky. He has been doing and saying the most outlandish shyt for the the past few months and everyone is paying attention to him but we all know he's not winning the GOP nomination, that's probably gonna be Jeb Bush because he's the only "reasonable" one and he is familiar.

- The Dems once again can't decide if they want to go for the sure win or have some god damn integrity and roll with Bernie Sanders, who I must admit is convincing me. They're not really standing behind any particular candidate and they're allowing the media and all sorts of other shyt to dictate to control the narrative. At least with Obama it was like "Yo...this dude is getting madd love and if he wins I want to be a part of it". I'm not getting that feeling with Hillary or Bernie. And Hillary is such a polarizing figure that she just can't get over that stigma of "Well...I'm a Clinton, and I fell back when you guys wanted Obama so it's my turn now!".

Brehs I think Gizzle is right...I think we about to have 8 years of this fukktard from Florida :francis:

I doubt he wins still but what will the Rights excuse be when another Bush and Republican implodes the economy?

I still have confidence that Jeb will be the GOP nominee with a solid chance to win the general. He just needs to be able to lock up the Kasich/Christie/Rubio/Fiorina/also rans supporters once they drop. The only real threats to him are a conservative muscling out his competition early, or Walker/Rubio putting on a show and convincing the establishment they're viable.

Historical trends favor the GOP this cycle but demographic trends do not. However I think it'll be close. I have a hard time seeing VA going for Hillary if Jeb's the nominee, Florida will largely depend on how Hiliary can get the black vote out and how the GOP handles Obama reopening Cuba. Ohio is even more about black turnout.

A lot of Hiliary's success will be dictated by how the GOP candidate runs against obama's legacy. Nothing will get black women out like disrespect to Obama's legacy or person.

I think yall underestimate Jeb's strength in regard to his war chest here. He stays viable nationally, wait until caucus time. He can drop negatives on each and every one of these cats.

Rand Paul got sound bites for days that'll hurt him, Fiorina laid off 30,000 hard working Americans, Rubio isn't ready for prime time(water anyone?), Ted Cruz is all bluster and can't win, Scott walkers Wisconsin is a mess, John Kasich supports the welfare queens and Obamacare, Christies jersey is a hell hole, Ben Carson aborted babies(close enough), etc etc

He can saturate every spot forever basically. He's got good metrics from Florida, he can play his electability up via his wife and fluency in Spanish. Plus the way the primaries are set up now it leaves next to no time once they get started to debunk attack ads. shyt sets up nicely

He is running an abomination of a campaign right now. It would take an act of God to get him the nomination.
