We got Industrial Bank in the DC area. I tried to open an account but I owe too many cac banks money so the brotha wouldn't accept my deposit for my own financial well being. I'm sure there are much less Black owned grocery stories.

This is true...we probably mainly just have small shops that have the basics that grocery stores have but not a large supply..

I hate the fact that I work at a white owned supermarket ...I just wish for a utopia where it was not like this but we can't all be talk and no action but I don't know when is it ever gonna stop

Been banking with citizens trust bank for a while and I've had 0 problems with them. Great customer service and everyone who works/banks there is black. My girl gonna open an account with them next week she said.

Carver is white owned at this point. No different than banking at US Bank or Wachovia

Don't stop with just the bank account breh. We have our own investment firms, life insurance companies, mechanics, and doctors/dentists too.
