What is the point of this show? A horror story about violence and racism against black people?
Those things are happening in the real world. Creating some sensationalist version of it only undermines what is actually happening.
There's no need to go to these extremes when what is actually happening is already horrific. And it isn't subtle or nuanced enough to work as an interesting metaphor or as social commentary.

That was not a good movie to be associated with- no one in the horror film community likes that version for him to even been spoken about in comparison with Night of the Living Dead.
Duane Jones from Night of the Living Dead presented himself as the strong black man bc of his command and leadership in his role, Duane stood apart bc he made that role; he brought depth to the entire movie; the role didn’t make him; the movie would not have been the same without Duane playing that character. Taye Diggs is a role player. Big difference.

It’s not that good. It’s watchable but it’s not a movie that has ever been received with a high level of good to decent reviews.Never seen it
