I wish black/afro people could just collectively make it clear to the indusry that we laughin at these crying cacs but at the same time we ain't lookin for "allies" either; we just want 1 of 2 things consistently: (1) strong black lead with Harlem residence or (2) character creator with many black skin and hair considerations.

People always say the female VA is better than the male.
I think there is unconscious bias, because i see people say this even when the female VA is trash.
First example being midnight suns. The male VA gave an old salem accent as he supposed to be an old hero from the pilgrim era, and the female VA was there with a modern valley girl accent and people still said they liked her better.

With cyberpunk, male V sounded the most believable as a streetkid/canon marketed path. And his usage of the cyberpunk slang was far more natural. The fem V literally brought nothing to the role, but people like her because they like her. Although she is my preference as a corpo, male v sounds too street to be a high level corpo agent.

but I think people just have a natural inclination toward female va's because they seem to be on that team regardless of who did the better job.
If you don't believe me I would challenge you to list just two games where you think the female VA was worse than the male.

Of course it's optional, but I know damn well y'all gone skip them Witcher 4 male scenes....unless that's your forte.


I just wanted to play as a male Witcher to romance pixel bytches if the option came up.I'm gonna buy the game on day 1 anyway so Now with Ciri I'll have to bypass all that unless I go the lesbian route.

Except she was supposed to be the lady of time and space, she was stronger than a Witcher.

I think it'll be a good story though.
