I mean... as a black male, i don't really see the difference between role playing as a female or a white male. Either choice somewhat disrupts my immersion going back 30 years i've been gaming.. but you tolerate it bc that's been 85% of American games absent a character creator. The other 15% i was probably playing as a marsupial.
So that in the past 10 years white males have increasingly had to live a fraction of my reality where they can't be the token mc in every game (but still most of them)? Lol.
The opposite of DEI is WMO (white male only). So unless we talkin about where the nyggas at in this game -and i mean that in the most literal sense- i don't feel any strongly about this than i did with Ellie, Aloy, etc.

Anybody with half a brain knew Ciri was gonna be the main focus of the next game, especially after everything Geralt went through to make sure she wasn't snatched up by the Wild Hunt and turned into a breeding sow.
