Nah, not random ass enemies. But check your map if you see monsters pop up, some are protecting a nest and that can give treasure. Also some are protecting Hidden Treasures.

You'll see a ton of random enemies out in the wild, don't stop to kill every one. If you need cash kill humans and sell their swords, if you need Alchemy items and see a new monster kill it.

Avoid monsters with the red skull above their names.

You must have never played the witcher 1 and 2. For as bad as people in this thread are complaining it controls it is light years ahead of those games.

If they high level, they'll drop you from the horse.

You can get some from wraiths at places of power sometimes. Thing is I killed like four of them and they all dropped amethyst dust, not emerald dust so then I said fukk it.
