Picked this back up and this game is living up to all of the awards
Just helped the baron rescue his wife vs the crones and I'm only level 10
I think I'm gonna start doing side quests for new gear and experience. It took me forever to kill a werewolf

Heart of Stone was by far my favorite quest
Which is a testament to how great it was since I thought another 5-6 were amazing

The story telling is just superb
I liked Blood and Wine just cause it was bigger and because the overall tone was lighter than the main story and Heart of Stone.
I got the "good ending" so that's probably why
